Quality requirements for six color masterbatches of color masterbatch manufacturers
Polypropylene fiber is a pure hydrocarbon. The molecular chain contains tertiary carbon atoms. When heated, the molecules are easy to crack at tertiary carbon atoms after being exposed to light, which worsens the quality of polypropylene fiber. Therefore, the masterbatch required to be made is easy to diffuse in high temperature spinning, does not damage the fiber quality, does not fade the fiber, and has excellent light resistance, wear resistance, and solvent resistance, which can bear the harsh spinning drafting.
1. The pigment selected for heat resistant masterbatch is required to withstand the temperature in the production process of polypropylene fiber and keep its performance stable. Temperature resistance is generally required to be above 270~280 ℃.
2. Pigments used for evacuation masterbatch shall be of excellent evacuation, and shall be evenly dispersed in the masterbatch, and the used dispersant shall not degrade the quality of polypropylene fiber. Otherwise, it is not possible to produce high-quality liquid colored fiber, and the operation is not stable, and it is easy to break or incubate abnormal fibers during fiber drafting.
3. Brightness polypropylene fiber liquid coloring has many uses, which is used for bedspread base cloth and knitted fabric, requiring bright color. Because organic pigments are relatively bright and beautiful, and easy to color, organic pigments shall be used for the above purposes.
4. Lightfastness Some pigments have photosensitive effect under the action of light, which makes the colored fiber fade and brittle. The lightfastness of pigments is fundamentally related to their chemical layout, so the lightfastness of fine pigments should be enriched when making color masterbatch. When it is necessary to use lightfastness pigments, ultraviolet absorbers can be considered to be added.
5. The pigment used in the color masterbatch shall have excellent stability against colored polypropylene fiber. It means that the colored fiber polymer will not react with the fiber when it is subjected to heat, light or high temperature, forming new chemical groups to lower the performance of the polymer. Therefore, the color masterbatch should be as pure as possible, free of impurities such as iron, copper, lead and other salts, and ensure that the physical properties of dyed polypropylene fiber are excellent.
6. Water resistance, dry cleaning resistance, oil resistance, colored polypropylene fiber finished products will inevitably go through water washing or solvent dry cleaning when they have been used, and they will fight with oil agents, especially when they are used for carpets, so the colorants used should have excellent water washing resistance, dry cleaning resistance, and oil resistance.
